progress : Mushroom dollhouse

I got 5 layers of papermache down before I removed the cap part off of the mold, and that was when I realized that it wasn't thick at all. And it'll take a hell of a lot more to thicken it up to the point where I can really use it.

But at least it holds its shape.

I read someone else's attempt, and after I read that she only had 2 layers down before removing it, I thought to myself, what made she thinks that it would be thick enough? But that's her attempt. I told myself to go through at least 5 layers before doing that, since I do not have a core of anything to help. 10-20 more layers before it's workable. I think.

I already put down a layer of craftpaper which is thicker than newsprint on the stem. I'll do that for a couple layers, and on the cap to see how that works, even though this was intended to be recycle, and I had to buy craft paper on big roll. Since I had it for pastel drawing anyway, it works out.

The 42" LCD tv works out well. I still owed my sister some money, but she didn't come over yet, so I'll give it to her when I see her. Apparently she wanna order some wigs, so, I'll see to that.

I recently ordered 2 dresses from Tanya's Style for her. Tanya was extremely nice about it, because I e-mail her and not going through the ordering system that she set up. She even gave a free dress too. She's awesome. I'm a fan.

I sorta have in mind what I wanna do with the mushroom dollhouse. I think for the furniture insides, my theme would be found object, as in things that find and mod to suit my purpose.

We'll see how it goes.

My doll plan was that I'm gonna save up to get another girl Luts Kid-Delf next. I have my sight set on Lemon. She's a cutie, and even though I really like Hodoo and they have Hodoo girl now (with me having to order a head and a body and stuff) I already have Dillon which is a Hodoo boy, I don't want a twin. Well, maybe I do, but not now.

I saw a few Hodoo girl already, and most of them looked like a spoiled princess. Not that it's a bad thing.

I also like the smart alec look of a minifee Lishe.. LOL. So she's in my tentative plan as well.

The plan, however, got foiled when Lati came out with their special edition.

I thought I was home free when I saw their special ver. Dragon.

They were cute, but there's nothing in me that said, 'GET THEM!!!' so the Dragons flew right over, not kick, no hit, not even a heat of the flame.

And then came their special ver.

OH. MY. GOD.

I got struck by the hooves.

If you can see me.. you'll see a hoof print on my forehead.

I showed mom, she said up to you. So I take that was a permission to get. I'm getting a Ruki (again) I think he's cute, he has this smile on his face, like an air-head. LOL.

So, there'll be 2 Ruki in the house.. I'm sure it'll be fun. Maybe we'll get another 'F' name.

BJD, some clothes, new doll

My sister got a new BJD, I don't really know when she got the doll, but well, she needed me to sprayed MSC UVcut for her, since she won't do it herself.

It was a Lati Yellow, Angel Prayer Lea version.

It was positively tiny!!

I can't imagine what a Lati White would look like smaller than this. Anyhow, now between the two of us we have 4 BJD. And 4 letters in the Alphabet. LOL.

Hodoo was the first doll that I wanted.. it was so weird, I saw him on Luts and I thought, wow, I want that one!!

So, Besides spraying UVcut, I have to make them clothes as well.. which meant that the doll trunk got push aside, I should picked it up again, very soon. I'm just lazy right now.. LOL.

And I had a thought.. I wanna get Lati Yellow (sp.) 1 Lea and 1 either Cookie or Lumi.. to make Baby Buffy and Faith. LOL..

HP6 and random ranting

I went to see Harry Potter and The Half-Blood Prince last night with a couple of friends. Just so that we didn't catch ourselves settle for the inconvenient time, I ran to the theater and bought the tickets ahead of time.

The show time was every 50 min, and still the seats were full. I mean, the only ones that aren't occupied would be the roles up front, who would wanna sit there, right.

Anyhow, I read the book, so I knew what was coming. It was a good movie, understandably short for the size of the book. I mean, they cut a lot off, which was to be expected.. what I can't stand was...

WHY WAS NARCISSA SO OLD!!!!

In the book she was supposed to be beautiful, if she didn't make the face as if she was smelling something unpleasant. So, why did they cast someone so old. Lucious wasn't that old. And I thought Narcissa was younger than Bellatrix!

I don't care, to me, Cissy is younger than Bella!!

God.. that was painful, good thing she only showed up for 2 scenes.

I'm learning how to face-up.. lots of practice, told myself.



I did one, I think I'm gonna try attaching the lashes before erase this face-up to do another. But not tonight. I'm spraying Chuck with UVcut. Almost done now though. Only 2 coats, or we'd be doing it all night.

Well, better get back to the spraying, I still got to do the hot glue seuding of the joints as well.

My mother's purchases today.

My mom always like handmade things (so do I, for that matter) More respect for those that made these things for living, it's not easy and people don't always wanna pay the price of the labor. Sometime it's the value of it and not the value of materials that add up to the price.

I can never do these things for living, I spend far too much money on things. :) I do make paper (recycle, since we got cards and such that got cut up, and will get burn otherwise, a waste if you ask me) and I use those paper to make a book, which I usually just give them to my friends. If they want it that is.

Well, my mother got these today... they made from dried palm leaves, the guy was awesome, my mom bought from him twice.. they are less than a dollar each (US dollar) the legs are made from aluminum can, he told my mom that he sold them to the other place more expensive because the woman didn't seem to care for them (why did she buy them is beyond me) consider the fact that it's all made by hand, so kudos for the guy.

And I got the r/c illu that my friend asked me to do as a favor done, it's not that big only 24"x24" much smaller than the other ones I've been making, especially as a portraits. I made them with black matt sticker on white future board (that's what they called it) looks nice if you hold it up to the light, but well, these will be on wall. I probably won't touch it anymore, done is done.

Ok, so I found this store iStudio, they sell Mac accessories and other things, so I got Solar Charger there (and I already knew the moment I saw it that this's going to be my favorite store!)

They also have that laptop stand and such, a bunch of comp accessories and so... I'm in love with it

I did buy a bugweed pillow as well, expensive, but well, it was rather worth it. Only a night and I felt the difference, I didn't wake up with a kink in my neck this morning and I slept through the night. (except when Gizmo barked to get some water). I'd get one for mom, but she's just the type to not use it. She's just that stubborn about things. And if she won't use it, then well, as expensive as it is if she doesn't use it then it is really expensive, if she uses it, then it is worth the money.

I'm still contemplating the wireless networking, even if just so I can play psp online... or maybe not, so far I don't see the point just yet.

I watched The Bridge to Terabethia today. I liked it. With the cover you might expect another Nania, but this isn't. It's about 2 kids, outcast, one because she was a new girl and have rather strange look at things, and the other was poor, they paired up and created a world of their own. I think my niece liked it. But she fell asleep. LOL.

I've got another idea for fanfic.

Yes, another Shiznat idea, although I'm not sure if I can write it down and finish it, since I have too many stories going already, but I guess I can try, I mean, I have to, otherwise I'll get really rusty and I won't be able to finish anything.

I'm getting Nintendo Wii... yup, it's decided. The day is Friday. :) I'll pick one up. I got a pretty alright deal the other day. It's the same price as XBox 360, but at the moment I want Wii and not 360, so. Maybe I'll try to get both, but then it still has to be one at the time.

I got a haircut today. I feel much, much better now. Like I've lost several lbs off of my head. LOL.

It's getting hotter everyday, so it's better with short hair for me.

My aunt just went back and my mom asked when I'm going to go visit. I said next year, then my mom asked why not this year if I'm gonna go on Oct. I'm thinking, it might be a good idea. I always love Falls. :) All that leaves changing color and Halloween! And the weather is just the way I like it, cold, but not too cold.

Yeah, I think I'll discuss it with my cousin first. She said she'll go with me. hehehe

Finally, I got my cpu back last night. I told the guy up front to let me know when it was dropped off, but noooooooo... I sat and waited till almost midnight and called down to ask, that's when they told me it was dropped off even before 10pm. I was kinda pissed, a little, 'cause I could've been setting the thing up already and went to bed earlier instead.

So, I spent the rest of the night loading firefox, thunderbird, divx and such. It's not even complete yet, but before that I got the message that the internet access's been temporarily suspend, due to overdue bill. I just got the bill 2 days ago!!! At least they have a messaging system, so I let them know that the bill was late. And they let me access afterward. Needless to say, I paid it off today, that and the cable bill.

Anyhow, life goes on, and I get to watch the stuff that I loaded, (cause the laptop won't take the screenplay, not enough power in the usb port) anyhow, I'm catching up on Shark, and Criminal Minds, as well as NCIS.

I like James Woods, especially when his character's a lawyer, since The Indictment : The McMartin Trial. I'm thinking of getting Ghost of Mississippi, :) And Live Nude Girls, just because. Well, I can think of a lot of things I want. :)

360. (I always thought that I dropped by at the game store and asked about Nintendo Wii. The price wasn't bad, less than what a PS3 costs, but right now I don't really want PS3, I want Nintendo!! LOL. I'm such a child sometimes. I think it's the nunchuk thing. :) Plus the machine was smaller than PS3 or XboxXBox has the size of a vcr) I also placed an order for Harry Potter last book on Friday.

So, now I'm gonna start watching Shounen Onmyoji and Ikkitousen Dragon Destiny.

There's a funeral my mother was supposed to go to tonight, my great-aunt. I went last night, but she's going tonight with grandpa, I think, and I'll have to pick them up afterward. I don't feel too good and so I'm not suppose to go to the funeral.

Yes, Chobits, I haven't watched it for so long, figure today is as good as any to watch it again. LOL.

Yes, Cin, my mother likes those Anime Models. Although she didn't care much for the male ones, she likes the females ones a lot. I was going to get the Rozen Maiden one for her, but she happened to see the price so she said no. It's too pricy for a 12" doll, she said.

Oh yeah, here's another... she would watch anime with me and grumbled about me not watching something else. (but she did laugh and asked what was going on or what they were saying.)

Um... maybe you should be careful about bending down (did that come out right?)

On other note, I'm thinking of a new layout... *sigh* but I still haven't moved on from Shizuru, be it Viola or Fujino. LOL... I'm obsessed!! Natsuki is cute too, so I might do one of Natsuki. Besides, there seemed to be more Natsuki official artwork than Shizuru anyway.

I was watching the voice over session on the extra of Mai Otome. And Naomi Shindou was talking about Shizuru and how she was happier in this incarnation, that she didn't have to hide anything and she was with her beloved Natsuki. (what more can you ask for?)

I'm giddy. LOL

Well, my mom said last night that she wasn't going to go see the doctor, so I didn't think I was going to have to get up before noon, for once. But I was wrong, by 10 AM I had my rude awakening, as usual. Damnit!!

I was in a bad mood the entire ride to and from, till I told her we're stopping at the mall, which usually she would give me some crap about wanting to go home asap, but after the way I won't talk to her since I got up, she said nothing.

So, I got my first volume of Mai Otome dvd and the box. :) That sure put me in better mood, and at the same time she got herself some figures as well, she likes those. And I got a notebook from Death Note. Not that I watch the movie, or really read through the manga, but the notebook looks pretty good and I wasn't paying for them, thus I grabbed it.

I'm feeling pretty good now. :)
