Well, it is now August, and damn it a lot of things just don't work the way it supposed to.
The new ISP didn't work out, so I decided to cancel it. I have to pay for the cancellation, of course, but last week I was staring at the abysmal downloading rate and I had a migraine so I knew, I can't stand this for another month, despite the fact that I only had it for less than a month.
I checked a different one and they can get me started in 7 days, so then it's off to new one we go.. I won't ever be without, though, since I can just leech off of the apartment in the mean time, if it didn't work out the way I plan.
My laptop died.
Oh yeah, perfect timing really.
It just suddenly up and died. So, I bought a new one, this one is Asus, with core i5 and I had them changed the RAM to 4gb. With 1gb for vid card. This one will last me a while. Well, the last one did too. The the wireless mouse at home was almost gone, and since I got it in a set of keyboard+mouse, I decided to just get a new set. This the new Logitech mk710.
Problem is, the scroll wheel was so quick and the buttons so sensitive, I'm having a hell of a time trying to lighten my touch. I'll get use to it, it'll just take a while. But the keyboard was better, though. It's not sticky like the last one.
As for the perfectly working keyboard and the slightly died mouse, I gave to my cousin, which I gave him the extra mouse I got with the laptop so together he'll have a perfectly working set. LOL.
As for the old Acer, well, when it got to the tech it came back to life! It was so weird, but anyhow, I just gave that to them as well. Don't know how long it's gonna last, but well, they can use it in the mean time. Waste not want not, right.
I'm back to writing again, but this time it's Legend of the Seekr, Cara/Kahlan (Calan) Working on it, I have to get back into the swing of things.
Ok, off to do the layout for the new Tabrett Bethell's Film blog.
Oh and Tabrett Bethell had just gotten a Best Actress for 'Anyone You Want' in Manhattan Film Fest.
The woman is awesome and smokin' hot.

upgrading time : desk top
I'm getting my desktop upgrade, so tomorrow a guy I know will be picking it up at my house for me (I always have him pick up too.. I'm just lazy that way). It's been dreadful for a while now. With the weird noise and stuff... and since I thought about upgrading it anyway, so... here's the time to do it.
So, now I'm just moving stuff off of it and temporary save everything on my 1TB external HDD for now, mostly will consist of photos, musics and movies. I think this is the perfect time to declutter too.
My mom knocked out the mouse we use for the laptop at the store. It was so weird. At first I thought that something was wrong with the USB port, then I plugged in the flash drive and it worked fine, only the mouse that the light didn't come on, so I figure it was the mouse, so today I had to do with the touch pad, that was sorta annoying.
I'm planning on ordering some wig, shoes, clothes for the new girl, I still don't have name for her yet, and probably won't for a while, since I still gonna redo her face-up. Maybe I'll send it to Tanya, she's awesome with face-up anyway.
Ok, back to moving things.

Wireless desktop, Comforter cover
I bought Kensington Pilotboard Wireless Desktop set almost a year ago, it was on sale at the time, and the sale's men told me that the warranty was a year and if something broke I can bring it back and change for a new one.
Well, a few weeks ago, the mouse broke.
I didn't really know what happened, only that my mother changed the batteries and it just went dark. There was no laser blinking like it should, so I thought hey a new battery, nothing, and so I took it out and put it back in, there was an instant of first contact that the laser came back on, and blank again. It was strange, and in came on for a little while, then blank again.
I looked at the sticker at the bottom (where they have their store's name and the date I bought it) and I still have another month before it expire. I didn't have time to go change it, but finally today I had my cousin take the whole set and went to the store.
I expected a little difficulty, I don't know why.
But nothing, they changed it, without much of a comment, and so my cousin brought it back to me, I tested it and it works perfectly (a new set, but they kept the box, which is good, I don't need more trash) My mom should be happy now, she didn't like the small mouse that came with the laptop.
I got a new comforter cover today, it's a t-shirt 100% cotton, I love it!! I bought a set of sheets for my father a while back for Father's day, and he didn't say anything about it, so I don't know if he likes it or not. I wanna get a set for me, but well, I have way too many sets already and my mother would definitely give me crap for buying more. So, I just get the cover and that's it. I need to send it out to be wash first.
Man, money just go out pretty fast. LOL.
I wanna get webcam for my desktop at home. Not sure why yet. I've been wanting to, but I'll think about it first, do I need it, not really, is there anything else I have to get, yes, so, I'll think about it for a while.
